I certainly will Big Al. It is a hard thing to lose a parent whether your 50 or 5, you still are their kid. God's love and grace be with you and your entire family.

    Re: Prayer Requests

I met a nice young man the other day, while visiting a friend at NCH.
The young man all of 11 or 12 named Thacker i think. Not sure, was awaiting some results on some blood work.
News from the doctor was there was a problem with some of the blood work and wanted to send him to Johnson City Medical Center for further test and evaluation.
Had this kid on my mind ever since meeting him. Called the family today and their worst fears were told to them
Luekemia. Their to fly the child to St. Jude's tomorrow morning.
This young man has faced a lot and his only words were, how long will it take to beat this.
Remember this brave young man in your thoughts and prayers.
    Thanks.

A long road ahead for Thacker.
Was told today that the young man has lymphoblastic leukemia.
However, it has not ventured outside of his bone mass. Which is a good sign.
Doctors are very optimistic at this time.
Still the chemo is making him very sick. One day he is just weak and tired. Next day he may be sick all day with vomiting and other symptoms. Hard on the youngin and his family.
Six weeks of intense chemo., then home and a year or so, of treatments.
Long ways till this is over.
St. Jude's i hear has been fantastic to the young man and his family. It's a shame a child has to face things like this.
Keep them all in your thoughts and prayers. I'll update when ever i hear more.
